13 Seconds Film

13 Seconds marks Matthew Ferraro’s second venture into writing and directing as a filmmaker, after receiving critical acclaim for his first short film, “The Runner”- available on Roku.

This mixed media documentary film is designed by using the concept of Orchestral Journalism. The images are driven by the voices Ferraro recorded and the orchestral composition he wrote to accompany them. It is a profound rendering of what happened on 9/11.

With 13 Seconds, Ferraro hopes that by listening to experiences of the past, perhaps we can learn to live together more peacefully in the future.
